Game Seer Venture Partners is a privately-owned investment fund that launches this month intending to spend money on high-quality game projects. The main target of the firm is PC and console games audience, but perspective indie projects will be taken into account either.

“Everything is transparent at all times, we are always available and we love games. From us the studios receive smart money and no stupid money.

One of the main ideas of the fund is to invest in interesting individual games instead of working with already successful companies that is opposite to the behavior of other venture firms.

Investors are going to spread initial capital over three years and the first three-five investitions are planned by next July. The company has already invested in a role-playing game project named “The Waylanders” by Gato Salvaje Development Studio, Spain. The release is scheduled for 2020.

It is also worth mentioning that Game Seer are open to suggestions in streaming media technology in games, but are not interested in augmented or virtual reality projects: “Those sectors haven’t had hits, other than Oculus itself, and we know the PC and console space better.” – said Game Seer’s managing director Bertrand Vernizeau.
