Embracer Group buys Swedish developer Tarsier Studios for $10.5 Million. Also gets Statik game title. All 65 Tarsier Studio employees will retain and Embracer will get ownership of Tarsier intellectual property rights.

The purchase price is SEK 88 million in cash and SEK 11 million in newly issued Embracer B-shares, plus a conditional earn-out, payable over 10-years to certain sellers who will remain with Tarsier.

Little Nightmares is the best known title of Tarsier. The studio also developed VR puzzle title Statik, the rights to which pass to Embracer Group.
