Zordix AB has announced they acquired the UK-based developer and publisher Merge Games. The acquisition sum has not been disclosed.
According to the deal, the Umea, Sweden-based publisher, will acquire 100% of all the shares in Merge games. Zordix, in an announcement, said the acquisition will enhance the company’s ‘publishing capacity’ and provide a new frontier to accelerate its growth prospects through partnerships with other companies.
Both the CEO and founder of Zordix Matti Larsson and MD and founder of Merge Games released separate statements regarding the acquisition.

Zordix AB has been active in the game industry acquisition scene for some time and acquired Invictus Games last year. Defrost Studio and Zordix Racing are the subsidiaries of the company.
