Product Madness has announced that it had completed the acquisition of mobile game developer Playsoft for an unknown sum.
“Playsoft has an enviable track record in developing top-grossing, player-centric mobile games and a strong reputation for creativity and innovation, making it an ideal fit for Product Madness,” commented Yoav Ecker, managing director of Product Madness. “Alongside our focus on sustainable organic growth across our existing product suite, the addition of this impressive studio will enable us to further expand and diversify our game pipeline and deepen access to development talent in another top-tier European games hub, as we continue to develop and scale both new and existing games.”
Product Madness is a social casino game company that specializes in the mobile sector. They have released popular titles like Heart of Vegas, Lightning Link, and Cashman Casino.

Based in Gdansk, Poland, Playsoft was founded by Pierre Oliver Monteil and Nicolas Bensignor and in 2004. The studio is known for its work behind games such as Vineyard Valley and Nickelodeon Super Brawl Universe.
Since its foundation, the studio has developed more than 50 games for major publishers worldwide.
According to the terms of the deal, Playsoft founders Monteil and Bensignor will continue leading the studio.
The Playsoft acquisition took place earlier this year, and since the Playsoft team has doubled in size.
Product Madness’ said the buyout is part of its investment strategy for long-term growth by diversifying its games portfolio and furthering the development of its new and existing games.
