Star Citizen, a title of Clowd Imperium Games Corporation, has raised more than $250m in crowdfunding campaign

Star Citizen has raised over $250 million in crowdfunding campaign. A total of 2,448,842 backers made purchases, in November, its strongest month yet, nine million were raised in November, during the latest CitizenCon fan event.

In December a new planet microTech is being added to Star Citizen, and next year Star Citizen will launch a new 20v20 mode in its multiplayer FPS section Theatres of War. The funds Star Citizen will subsequently raise are expected to increase even more.
