Voodoo opens Montreal studio as it expands beyond hypercasual games

New branch will be led by former Gameloft producer Mehdi El Moussali

Portable games firm Voodoo has opened another studio in the Canadian city of Montreal.

While there doesn’t seem to have been an official declaration at the hour of composing, the opening was uncovered on LinkedIn by game lead Mehdi El Moussali, who will lead the studio.

As per the post, the new branch will be committed to “making games past hypercasual”, connoting an opportunity in technique for the allowed to-mess around distributer.

El Moussali is right now during the time spent “constructing little, self-sufficient and gifted groups”, principally searching for senior game architects, craftsmen and designers.

El Moussali joins Voodoo having gone through a while at Hitman Go engineer Square Enix Montreal. Preceding this he served for over eight years in different maker levels at Gameloft.

Recently, Voodoo opened another branch in Istanbul, in spite of the fact that this is essentially centered around distributing activities for the neighborhood markets.
